A 20 million year-old primate skull has been discovered between layers of volcanic sediment in Uganda. According to the UK Telegraph, the fossil of the species, called Ugandapithecus, is considered to be "the most complete of its kind to have ever been unearthed." The age of the artifact is quite remarkable, considering Homo sapiens are thought to have evolved only 2.5 million years ago.
