China will launch an unmanned module into space next week, in preparation for the construction of a full blown space station, the first to ever be built by a single country. The ship, Tiangong-1, or "Heavenly Palace 1", has been created to test out docking and rendezvous procedures. The Chinese space station is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
