A beautiful Fine + (6.5) copy of the ultra-desirable Action Comics #1 sold for an impressive $625,00 last week, Bleeding Cool reported.  The same comic sold for a mere $120,750 in 2003, showing a five-fold increase in only 8 years. The iconic comic was sold by the ComicLink website, following a string of high profile sales of golden age and silver age comics that have been outselling the official Overstreet Price Guide by several multiples.  Last year, two higher graded versions of the comic sold for $1 million and $1.5 million respectively.
